Here is my take on the new Pwnisher challenge, Chasm’s Call. It’s a General Art piece created in less than two weeks, using a mix of hand-made and pre-made assets to achieve a high-quality result.
I started by sketching the idea in Blender and gathering references in Miro. For animation, I used Mixamo, blending its motion capture data with hand-edited keyframes and posture adjustments. Cloth simulation was done in Style 3D Atelier before bringing everything into Unreal Engine, where I focused on composition and lighting. I used Substance Painter for texturing and Gaea to generate landscapes. Along the way, I also learned new techniques in Fusion and color grading in DaVinci Resolve.
